How many seasons?

edit

One paragraph begins During the first (and only) season of the show there was an ongoing story arc, implying only one season. But there are two seasons listed below. PrometheusX303 18:20, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

There was only one season, but after the show was cancelled much information about the planned second season was made public. That needs to be made clear in the entry. -Atfyfe
Ok. What about "Season Two (Unaired)" for starters? PrometheusX303 22:31, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

This article reports the interaction between the TV show and the Mattel toys as an accomplished fact. Some news reports at the time said that, although that sort of thing was planned as a sales gimmick for both the toys and the program, it never actually occurred because of serious technical difficulties as well as some worries about unintended results of signals being broadcast intended for the toys. Sussmanbern (talk) 07:20, 3 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

It is an accomplished fact. They toys did interact with the show. It just didn't work very well and ultimately didn't lead Mattel to sell many toys which resulted in the show being cancelled. The toys worked best in dogfights with each other. The interaction with the TV show was always awkward, but it did exist/work. - Atfyfe (talk) 07:45, 3 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Sven-Ole Thorsen

edit

The guy who played Tank is Danish, and not Norwegian, as is sugggested in the article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 193.216.238.236 (talk) 02:32, 24 December 2006 (UTC).Reply

The Danish comment refers to the military unit the character belongs to, if I'm not mistaken, not a comment on the actor. Nevermind, I didn't read the article correctly. JN322 16:35, 31 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Merger proposal

edit

This page and Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future are almost identical. --84.150.204.147 (talk) 13:11, 9 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think we should merge and redirect this to Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future as well. 99.230.152.143 (talk) 00:02, 2 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Should it move to that page, the content of the Captain Power article contains more detailed information in the Controversies section and should be maintained. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.116.214.66 (talk) 17:15, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

There hardly needs to be discussion on this. It's obviously the same article. Merging them now. JoeD80 (talk) 22:01, 7 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Revival?

edit

Apparently, their has been an increase in the interest in the series lately, and the right holder MIGHT be thinking about mounting a revival. Rumor's say it would start with a Comic series that may lead to a new Saturday-morning TV series. I'm not gonna put it on the article until we get 100% confirmation on anything, but still Henshin86 (talk) 20:16, 27 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

That's an easy one in the case described: Anything added with a citation is generally fine (lots of cited rumors in articles like this). Anything added without a citation is bad (WP:CRYSTAL and a lot of other policy and guidelines against it). —Aladdin Sane (talk) 22:13, 27 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Episodes order for first season

edit

The order of the episode for season 1 does not seem to match either air dates either dates mention in the episode. This webpage http://www.captainpower.tv/episodes.html list the episode by date mention in the show, the air date does not match the date given in the episode. As an example, "Wardogs" is currently the third episode, it aired November 22, 1987, which would make it the 10th aired; but in the episode, the date mention is 47-5 Mark 13, which put it between "A Fire in the Dark" (5th aired, currently 6th) and "The Intruder" (9th aired, currently 11th).

If anybody could provide a reference on the episode in the VHS and DVD, this would be a nice complement.

I suggest changing the episode order to one for which we have a reference, and mentioning alternative orders (with reference).

Any new information about this? Stumbled about the same misinformation and wanted to ask, why the aired date and the episode numbers are all that mixed up. IMDB also lists a different order... MasterPhW (talk) 10:34, 26 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

There are several orders. The order on the DVD, the US airing order, the Canada airing order, the intended airing order, the VHS order... I've seen a number of episode orders. I am not sure which one should be taken as canon. - Atfyfe (talk) 03:51, 23 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
I'm inclined to just leave it as-is; it's in order according to the series chronology, and messing with the airing order would just make the list messy. Besides, if the show ever returns to reruns, the airing order won't really matter. 70.67.73.42 (talk) 04:06, 26 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
