driving in reverse to turn back an odometer
editContrary to what the article says, itis possible to run an odometer backwards by driving in reverse on some older cars. One example is my 1989 oldsmobile cutlass ciera sedan. i could post a video on youtube to attempt to prove it, but i would rather not, because it might give some people ideas(if there isn't a video like that on there already)Vandalism destroyer (talk) 01:12, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- Does it not work on the 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California? DanBishop (talk) 03:41, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
- On some cars driving in reverse reverses the odometer, on some cars it moves the odometer forward, and on some it does nothing. --Sable232 (talk) 20:30, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
This article barely longer than the section in Odometer
editJust saying. I've never called for an articles removal before, but when the article repeats a section of a medium sized article? I won't tag it, but it's something to bear in mind. 94.66.98.5 (talk) 15:21, 23 July 2015 (UTC) Jonathan Adrian Treloar
