This article says that carbenicillin is bactericidal, but that is not true. Like ampicillin, carb slows down growth, but does not kill bacteria. I always get satellite colonies on my carb plates if I leave them too long in the incubator, which is not a problem with true bactericidal antibiotics like kanamycin. I'm removing the bactericidal note on the first sentence of the article. If you want to return it, please elaborate. Flecha2 (talk) 22:31, 23 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
