What wavelengths are peak absorption and emission? excitation by 488 laser, emission can be picked up with FITC filter (~530/30). don't know the peaks.

The article should briefly explain how this can work e. g. for the tagged cells. If not in this article then it is ok to link to another article, but wikipedia really should have that information. Right now I am trying to find out HOW it works exactly. So yes it may attach to lysines, but how can cell generations be tracked? Won't they be diluted after a few generations?
