Caretaker manager → Interim manager (football) – While natural disambiguation is preferred to parenthetical, the term "caretaker manager" does not appear in this article even one single time. Interim manager is already a redirect to interim management, which should be retained per WP:PTOPIC. Ivanvector's squirrel (trees/nuts) 15:41, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. Whilst I take the point about it not being mentioned in the article at all (I have no idea why), the current title is the clear WP:COMMONNAME. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:33, 18 August 2021 (UTC)
- Do you have any evidence that it's the common name, besides your unsupported assertion? It seems to me that if we can write an entire article about it without using that name at all, it can't possibly be the common name. Ivanvector's squirrel (trees/nuts) 13:19, 18 August 2021 (UTC)
- Yes. The BBC. Google. "Interim manager" is certainly used, but using the current title is clear natural disambiguation, avoiding parenthetical disambiguators. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:06, 18 August 2021 (UTC)
- And, in fact, "caretaker manager" was used throughout the article until an IP editor decided to change all the references to interim manager a few months ago! So I'm afraid the whole basis of the nomination is invalid. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:14, 18 August 2021 (UTC)
- Would it make sense to revert? I'll happily withdraw if this is just an error. Ivanvector's squirrel (trees/nuts) 18:55, 18 August 2021 (UTC)
