Existence?

From the article:

...a German author best known for his short story "Leiningen Versus the Ants"...

The problem is, was he known for anything else? Is there any evidence that Stephenson actually existed? If he was a lifelong German, why was the Nazi-era story apparently written in English? Surely this is just a one-off pen-name? -- 68.146.220.249 (talk) 00:35, 16 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Published during lifetime

See the german wikipedia entry for his published works, some during his lifetime, but not all literary it is true. It seems (ZVAB, eBay) that C. S. also used a pen name, so he def. published some stuff during his lifetime.--Radh (talk) 07:24, 1 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
