Where does this information come from???
editFrom «One prince, indeed, Don Carlos, intended to abolish the cruel court of the inquisition, but lost his life before he became able to accomplish the merciful purpose. He possessed all the good qualities of his grandfather, without any of the bad ones of his father» to «The king passed sentence of death on his son. The prince had what they termed an indulgence: he was permitted to choose the manner of his death. He chose bleeding and the hot-bath. falling a martyr to inquisitorial malice.»
This paragraph is indeed very strange. It has many inconsistencies and claims the opposite of what is said above. Actually it is a collection of factual errors. What are the sources to all this information? Analogica (talk) 03:32, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
Was he Prince of Girona
editI not sure if he ever used the title in his lifetime? But in my own opinion just like the Prince of Wales is the Duke of Rothesay even if he didn't use that title, then the Prince of Asturias should be Prince of Girona and the other title associated with the Spanish Crown.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 01:25, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- Also was he a Prince of Portugal, the Spanish wiki and Portuguese wiki does not use this title even though he was heir presumptive to the throne of Portugal from 1557 to his death.--The Emperor's New Spy (talk) 02:23, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
Who is Honorary Juan
editLine from the article: "From 1554, Honorary Juan was in charge of both his education and his library." Was trying to figure out when and why this was added. I assume it's a typo? Maybe referring to the previously mentioned "Hieronymo Soranzo"? --2601:401:100:5914:CC0B:9C42:AC52:EE7D (talk), 7 January 2019
