Merge
editSuggested merge of Okocim Brewery into the appropriate section of Carlsberg Polska - Carlsberg Polska#Okocim Brewery. Okocim no longer exists as a separate company, but has been since 2004 a part of the Carlsberg Group operating under the name Carlsberg Polska, along with three other Polish breweries. The Wikipedia:COMPANY guideline indicates that services and products should be dealt with under the parent company, breaking out in WP:Summary style when a service or product has sufficient material. At present Okocim Brewery is a stub, and to prevent content forking, and to keep the material in context within the parent company, it would be appropriate to allow the information to grow within Carlsberg Polska until it reaches the point where it can be a stand alone article. By bringing stubs together they tend to grow as editors come to the same page from different places. The Okocim Brewery information remains on Wiki, but in a different place - a place where it can grow. This is not a deletion - it is simply a move. Sources, such as RateBeer, have already merged Okocim with Carlsberg Polska.
Jotel feels that Okocim should remain as a stand alone, so the merge is disputed. SilkTork *What's YOUR point? 16:26, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Disagree. Okocim company is notable for its own.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 05:28, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
- With no agreement, and two disagreements I've removed the tag. SilkTork *YES! 11:44, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Yet somehow this still got merged. Problem is that with the content merged here there is no "red flag" to expand the proper article on Okocim Brewery, for example on its history and tradition, which have essentially nothing to do with Carlsberg. Volunteer Marek 22:11, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
