Souza performed in Ireland at the Farmleigh Affair festival in 2008, despite the bad weather.[1]

Souza performed in Toronto in 2009. She "brings a sultry jazz swing to the bluesy morna of her Cape Verde Islands homeland." This was part of a North American tour.[2]

Added both of these to the performance section. SusunW (talk) 08:02, 24 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

There are sources in English at [1] and [2]. Also mentioned in some detail here.

Her photo shows her surname as Linnhoff. Married name? Mother's maiden name? SusunW (talk) 08:02, 24 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Linnhoff is simply the name of the photographer.--Ipigott (talk) 16:42, 24 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
Thanks Ipigott. Who would have expected them to name the photo as if it were part of her surname? Thank goodness you figured it out. I deleted it as a surname in the infobox. SusunW (talk) 18:45, 24 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
You'd be surprised how often that happens. The article seems to be progressing very well. Let me know if you need any help with Portuguese sources.--Ipigott (talk) 18:50, 24 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

"Meld" is a word

edit

An exasperated IP editor claimed the word "meld" isn't English. Yes, it is. It's in my copy of the Oxford American Dictionary ed. by Erin McKean. I didn't write it. It's not a word I would use. But it is English.
