Original Research
editA lot of this article appears, or may appear to be, original research - or referenced mainly by works by the contributer. I'll try to make the tone more encyclopedic. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pishmishy (talk • contribs) 15:06, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Citations required
editWhen supplying citations in response to a "citations required" flag, please provide a full citation in accordance with Wikipedia guidelines. This should include at least both the title and author of the cited source. This allows editors to check the validity of the source. Preferably cite using the <ref></ref> feature, e.g.: <ref>Author, ''Title'', Publisher, Year, ISBN, page</ref>, adding a <references/> at the end of the article to accommodate footnotes.
Spiritual quality
editI have removed this statement because it is unsubstantiated. Here is a quote from the policy page Wikipedia:Neutral point of view:
It is not sufficient to discuss an opinion as fact merely by stating "some people believe..." as is common in political debates. A reliable source supporting that a group holds an opinion must accurately describe how large this group is. In addition, this source should be written by named authors who are considered reliable.
By all means re-insert the statement if a quantitative source can be cited showing that it is the opinion of a substantial number of people. If the number of people that hold this view is very small then in the words of Jimbo Wales (also in the NPOV page):
If a viewpoint is held by an extremely small (or vastly limited) minority, it does not belong in Wikipedia (except perhaps in some ancillary article) regardless of whether it is true or not; and regardless of whether you can prove it or not.
Spelling style
editPlease stay in accordance with Wikipedia's policy of not tinkering with the spelling style in which an article was first written. This article was first written using British English spelling style (e.g. 'defences' not 'defenses'). EatYerGreens (talk) 01:59, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
