Does anyone else feel that the mix of English and Spanish in the title is wrong ? If this should be in Spanis, it should be Carnaval de Santiago de Cuba; if English, Carnival of Santiago de Cuba. -- Beardo (talk) 01:34, 8 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Correct. Corrected. --Qyd (talk) 14:30, 23 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

The "Carnaval" spelling should be kept because it is the name of the celebration, not just a word that means "carnival." The stem "carna-" is especially important because it represents the fleshly or carnal nature of the celebration. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:244:8301:86A0:1802:25F1:935D:2F45 (talk) 17:49, 27 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
