Anti-histamine
editIf carnosine is composed of compounds created from alanine and histidine, then would using a daily anti-histamine could possibly reduce production of carnosine and possibly help as treatment?Interestedperson (talk) 16:17, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- Or would it make it worse by freeing up histamine for use by histidine and therefore carnosine? If so, maybe you'd want more histamine instead. In fact, I suspect that a lot of drugs are pro-histamine; that these may be the ones with SJS indicated as a possible rare side effect. --Hyperforin (talk) 05:01, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
