I have just modified one external link on Carole Ward Allen. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:

Promotional tone
editI just added a tag that says this article reads like an advert rather than an encyclopedia article. Some of the items that I have identified are:
- "Oakland's port was noted among the top ten premier ports in the country at the time"
- "Ward Allen played an integral role in a wide range of port planning, port development, and port productivity projects working with port authorities across the world."
The article goes into minute detail about every little thing she has done. Some of it is written from what appears to be either autobiography or discussions with Allen. It needs some serious pruning and rewriting. ~ GB fan 13:52, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
- There appears to be a severe conflict of interest going on in the article also. I became involved when a username, BART District 4 showed up. I soft blocked the username. Just after I did Jack Henry XX registered and continued editing the article. Jack Henry XX claims to be the copyright holder of all the images he has added to the article. If he is there is definitely a conflict of interest. ~ GB fan 20:02, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
- I have started to trim some of the poorly sourced/unsourced information. There are still more sources to look at to see if they verify what the information. Will come back later to do more work. ~ GB fan 12:17, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
