There is a fairly extensive entry on Grassari (Marie-Caroline-Josephine Gérard) in a family tree on the French genealogy website Geneanet. According to that entry, she died in Biarritz on 24 September 1863, and she had a son born out of wedlock in 1822 named Françis Hippolyte Charles Gérard. As the family trees on this website are user-generated, they are not reliable sources in the absence of accompanying documents such as scans of original birth, death, and marriage certificates. Thus, I have not included this information in the article. However, I place it here as an indication for future research. So far, I have been unable to find any original documents (or press articles, for that matter) which would support Grassari's date and place of death or Françis Hippolyte Charles Gérard being her son.
