New Carrera Panamericana
editThe current article indicates the race was discontinued in 1950, however it had been restarted in about 1994 and continues to be held annually. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.5.250.150 (talk • contribs) 04:47, 21 May 2005 (UTC)
Edit: Updated
editI've updated the article comprehensively using the official site, reference books and a copy of 'evo' magazine. If anyone can confirm the start and end points of the original race please add these, not speaking Spanish hinders me as the English version of the site seems less comprehensive. I'm now merging with data from page Carrera Panamericana Mexico which has information on the old races. Josh.Sinyor 18:43, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
Lap or stage?
editOn the first lap, his 1951 Packard skidded off the road . . .
Shouldn't this be stage or leg?

agreed, changed to "stage" per your suggestion. Ghost650 (talk) 22:16, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
