Some confusion
editUnder "Operation Brewing storm" the article currently has this;
"In addition to CSG-10, Operation Brewing Storm also included Carrier Strike Group Ten (CSG-10)"
I don't think this means what it is intended to mean. Could you take a look?
There are also some parts of the lead that seem near-contradictory and might need some attention. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 17:12, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
Specifically with regard to the lead;
"CSG-11 has also participated in in" -- is "CSG-2" intended here?
"Since the inception of the carrier strike group (CSG) concept in 1993, which mandated greater task group integration of naval air and surface warfare assets, the Theodore Roosevelt carrier strike group" -- it's confusing for the reader to introduce the Theodore Roosevelt for the first time in this way. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 17:16, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
- CSG-11 substituted with CSG-2 noted above, and I moved second intro paragraph into the Historical Background section.Marcd30319 (talk) 19:42, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
Last deletion
editRecently deleted an addon regarding VBSS and one of the CSG ships. VBSS is something that's trained to/conducted pretty routinely - not terrible notable. It might better be noted in the specific ship's page.E2a2j (talk) 15:40, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
No link to WW2 heritage
editI'm prepared to delete the whole section about CarDiv 2's activities during WW2 and before because I've been able to find no source that says that the modern unit is a descendant of the WW2 unit. I thought I'd canvass for some opinions first before I do so.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 20:17, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
