Birthplace
editCarson was raised in Claussville, a small town near Allentown, where his parents lived since before he was born (he lived in Claussville till he went to college), but I believe he was not technically born there since the town is too small to have a hospital. He never lived in New Tripoli, but he did go to High School there. I know Carson well, if you need any further details, btw. Queer Scout 18:01, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
Cite Sources
edit"Perfect" is released in a few weeks (Carson is doing his own 2 hour live show on QVC on November 29), and QVC are running promos for it round the clock. I'm not sure how to cite that as a reference, so I just used the info on his official site. The information about him being certified as a minster comes from the "Queer Eye" episode "Marriage, Vegas Style: Asher and Tsiliana" (4.2, aired 6/13/2006). I looked but I don't know how to cite something on TV as a reference. There is/was (?) also a page about him on the church's website. All the stuff that's been deleted is very well known and well-reported. Could people please try to cite sources themselves or ask before deleting things? Queer Scout 15:02, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
- hi QS, looks like the deleted material was replaced by good citation, yay! that's what the 'citation needed' tag is supposed to inspire, not a simple purge. because you gave such great precise info i was able to cite the tv episode reference. carson's website is a more solid ref than the promos for "perfect", but i went there and couldn't find anything. anything that has been either published (print, web) or aired somewhere may be cited. cheers! -- Denstat 02:49, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, I was in a bad mood yesterday:( Thanks for everything. Carson's site is a little tricky because most info is posted on the message board, not the main site, and you have to be registered to view. Queer Scout 08:18, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
College Major
editGettysburg doesn't have a Finance degree (I graduated in '95). See [1] The only thing close would be Management or Economics. Whomever did the bio on his website is wrong.--Davidwiz 19:04, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, you're right. Carson studied management, with a concentration in entrepreneurship and finance. Good catch. Queer Scout 08:28, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- Looking at the edit history, it also seems like different fraternities at Gettysburg are trying their best to claim him. He was Alpha Phi Omega, and I included a reference for that Gomedog (talk) 20:13, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
Australian big brother
editI'm not a fan of this guy myself but those of you who are may like to add to his biography that he's about to go into the Australian big brother house as a guest. (I think he goes in on May 15th)Iiidonkeyiii (talk) 10:19, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
Unitarian vs ULC
edit"During the episode he mistakenly announced he had been ordained by the "Universal Unitarian Church of Modesto, California," and the slip aired, much to the amusement of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Modesto, California."

series Couched with Carson Kressley
editWandered across 'Couched with Carson Kressley' series on Roku Channel hosted by Carson IMDb page about Couched doesn't have much detail, but does say it is a "Talk-Show". Credit screens at end of episodes (via Roku Channel):
- Just "The Design Network": episode one to 5
- No end credit screen: episodes 6 to 9 (just a screen saying name of show)
- No end screen: episode 10. (TV screens in background of all 10 episodes say The Design Network)
Did web-search for Couched and found https://www.tdn.tv/couched By the way, this Wikipedia article includes external link to www.carsonkressley.com , but that domain looks like it has been cybersquatted. --EarthFurst (talk) 06:50, 24 June 2020 (UTC)
