What do you mean by the name "Castel Volturno Masscare" is not NPOV? The massacre was a noteworthy event, not the riots. The riots themselves were a result of the massacre, which is a particularly notable event in the history of the Camorra. It signified the trend of growing clashes between the Camorra and foreign African gangs. In addition to this, the article on the Italian wikipedia is with the title, "Fatti di Castel Volturno" (Castel Volturno feud), not "Castel Volturno riots". It is for these reasons that i will revert to the name that i changed it to.Joyson Noel (talk) 20:43, 25 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

OK, Peter Symmonds. I will give him three days to reply back. If he does not reply within that time, then i am well within my rights to revert the title. Joyson Noel (talk) 20:55, 25 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

That is not how it works. PeterSymonds (talk) 21:00, 25 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

So, what do you suggest that i do? What if he does not respond to this? Should i just sit here and do nothing? I am willing to discuss this, if he responds. I will also seek the intervention of some other people knowledgeable in this subject and hear their opinion. In that way, general consensus will be reached on either title. (edit conflict) Having read the history more closely, I think you probably have a point. I'm still doubtful of the title—"massacre" is a strong word, and that's what drew me to revert in the first place, especially given the substantial changes you made to the article and the shift of focus from the riots to the "massacre" itself. I'll trust the change here (and fix the title's capitalization to conform to our naming conventions) but I'll review the article later to check the NPOV or lack thereof. Actually, the word "Massacre" is best suitable to address this event, as it is an article about the mass killings and it's aftermath. In fact, there are a couple of articles already with the word "Massacre" included in it's title. See Saint Valentine's Day massacre, Malmedy massacre, etc. Sure, do review the article later. Thanks. Just for the record, I agree with Joyson's move. It is a more appropriate title. In Italy these events are generally describes as "strage", which translates as massacre. I added it to the Category:Massacres in Italy. - Mafia Expert (talk) 08:05, 26 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
