Why is this marked as a stub? Is there really more that could be said about a castellan? If someone feels that way, wouldn't the article be better served by making note of such on the talk page or something like that rather than simply puting a stub tag up and moving on? The proposed merging of Castellany with this article took place without signalling it here. Nobody took the trouble to edit the poor un-encyclopaedic English beforehand and then someone made a redirect to the solitary Maltese castellany of Valletta: all rather unsatisfactory. I have tried to clean up, as best I can, but leave it to others to add sources.--Po Mieczu (talk) 22:20, 3 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
