There is no CDP named The Village at Castle Pines, Colorado
editThere is no CDP named The Village at Castle Pines, Colorado. This article was merged to this title in 2018, but I think this was done in error. There is a housing development called The Village at Castle Pines, but it's juts one of thousands of such developments in Colorado and it's not incorporated. The real name of the CDP is just Castle Pines, at least according to the Census Bureau's website. There is also the City of Castle Pines, but this is completely separate from the Castle Pines CDP.
I am wondering if this article was changed to "The Village at Castle Pines, Colorado" to promote the real estate aspects of the housing development.
The article says the name was "officially changed" but there's no reference to back this up, the CDP's name has not been changed. I think the move was not warranted. I think the name of the article should be "Castle Pines (Census designated place)."
As it stands right now, this article is providing false information. It says that The Village at Castle Pines is a CDP, and that's not accurate. Any comments? Jeffrey Beall (talk) 20:09, 25 March 2019 (UTC).
