Estate

edit

I addid a wikilink to estate but which one is meant.

  • Estate (house) may mean the grounds surrounding any very large property, such as a country house or mansion
  • Estate (land), in earlier years, the estate may refer to the extent of a large country house and its surrounding tenure.
  • Estate (area), (mostly UK), refers to a defined area of housing in a common style

The definitions seem confused- 'house' and 'land' seem virtually identical, whilst 'area' should probably be redesignated 'housing', which is itself mentioned under 'land'. So a disambiguation link is probably best until these three definitions are sorted out. --Stevouk 14:46, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
