Talk:Catharine and Petruchio

Just thought this play should have its own page, since it was the predominant version of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew for a good two hundred years. Much like Nahum Tate created a revisionist "happy ending" to King Lear, David Garrick wrote a different Taming of the Shrew which people considered canon until the twentieth century. Some of the text is copied from the Wikipedia page on The Taming of the Shrew. Bellerophone29 (talk) 18:18, 21 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Garrick's play is entitled "Catherine and Petruchio"

Garrick's play is entitled "Catherine and Petruchio" so I have corrected the misspellings except for the title of the article, which change I do not know how to do. Would someone please help me? I have a copy of the original script with the correct title so I am not guessing about the spelling. WordwizardW (talk) 20:42, 2 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
