Contested deletion
editThis article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because the Cathedral of Saint Mel was originally set in the town of Ardagh and that is how local people call the archaeological site. In the last few centuries, the seat was moved to the town of Longford where todays 19th century construction was established.
I changed the title, adding a redirection tab to divert some confusion, but the reality is that there are two Cathedrals in the county of Longford dedicated to Saint Mel.
