Dr Catherine Cummings
editWhy isn’t Catherine’s Honorific title acknowledged on this page? Is it because she is female? 2001:F40:944:233A:CCD3:2901:783C:7340 (talk) 08:44, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
- It's Wikipedia policy not to apply professional titles (such as "Dr." or "Professor"), unless the subject is widely known by a pseudonym or stage name containing such a title. If she had a verifiable qualification, such as MD or PhD, that would be affixed at the first mention of her name. See MOS:DOCTOR Doug butler (talk) 23:53, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
- The doctorate she claims is in "traditional Chinese medicine" and she doesn't hold any university qualifications higher than a bachelor's. ITBF (talk) 01:50, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
- Do you have a reliable source for this? I think it would be good to mention in the article that she self-styles as a "Dr" and her actual qualifications. Ashmoo (talk) 08:19, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
