Excelentes críticas
editEl power trío de Villa Luro integrado por Fernando Ruiz Díaz (guitarra y voz), Gabriel Ruiz Díaz (bajo y coros) y Abril (batería) está demostrando que no en vano han recibido excelentes críticas de Cuentos Decapitados y de sus conciertos. Esto se traduce en el público: Catupecu concentró 2.500 personas en El Teatro (19/5) y acaban de llenar el Roxy Cuadrafónico con 700 personas y dejando gente afuera. Se prevé que a principios del mes de julio, el trío volverá a presentarse en el Roxy. Además, Catupecu planea llevar sus Cuentos Decapitados al interior del país, y la gira estará lista en pocos días más. Catupecu Machu comenzó su carrera en 1994 y editó dos producciones independientes: Dale! (1997) y A Morir! (1998), disco grabado en vivo. En agosto del 2000, editan Cuentos Decapitados a través de EMI.
Más allá de sus éxitos discográficos, con sus shows contundentes y festivos es donde el power trío deja toda su energía. Algunos de sus conciertos memorables fueron en el Buenos Aires Vivo II (1998), en el Monster of Rock (River, 1999), soportes de Metallica, Sepultura y Almafuerte, entre otros.
