Cava War
editIn 2005 in Spain, was a success boycott to "Cava Catalán", mostly by spanish conservative party PP, against left-nationalist coalition gobern in Catalonia. Anselmocisneros 20:20, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
Etymology and other origins
edit'Cava' is also Latin for 'cave', which may better illustrate the origin of the name; the Catalan language is heavily infuenced by Latin and cava is & was traditionally matured in caves, rather than cellars.
- Well, it is not exactly that Catalan is "heavily influenced by Latin" but rather that, as any other Romance language, directly descends from it. English, on the other hand, and being a Germanic language, is indeed highly influenced by old French and Latin.
Also worth noting that the internal link for the Penedes wine region is to the Alt Penedes comarca. As no page exists for the (relatively famous) Penedes wine producers, I'll create one and edit the link.--mikaul 14:20, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
No need for duplicate articles
editThere is simply no need for the duplicate article of a style of Sparkling wine. Furthermore, it is highly inappropriate to plagiarize other editors work by copying and pasting the exact content from the Sparkling wine article here. If you sincerely feel that there should be separate article, please discuss on the Talk:Sparkling wine page. AgneCheese/Wine 14:13, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Article does not primarly mean Spanish Sparkling wine
editThis article is a disambiguation page. CAVA redirects to this page, and these meanings do NOT primarly mean sparkling wine. These pages link to orginizations. Please do not change it so that Cava primarly means wine.--Alpha Quadrant (talk) 02:42, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
