Not worthy of comment in the main article, but perhaps of interest to passing researchers, is an auction, by Messrs. Christie, Manson & Woods, on 19 July 1900, of wine from “The Cellar of Captain Cecil Boyle, deceased (Oxfordshire Yeomanry), late of Avon Carrow, Avon Dassett”. My pictures 20433-5.
