Celia's exact date of birth still has not been found. We are to assume that she was born in 1983 as she was 25-years-old at the time of cycle 12. It is however possible that she could have been born late 1982 as cycle 12 was filmed at the end of 2008. It would be useful if this was found. (Facteditor1 (talk) 1:13, 8 July 2009 (UTC))

It might be nice to put in some mention of the friendships Celia made with Allison and Kortnie on Top Model. The topic was frequently mentioned on Top Model, and in interviews, Celia has stated that she has maintained these friendships post series. :) (Kyleofark (talk) 18:40, 14 May 2009 (UTC))Reply
There goes Misty Willows again, if you made the page Kyle you should have say in what you get to put on there. I agree Celia stood up for Kortnie, but Misty Willows gets her way again. Also can you understand my POV about the Jennifer and Erin thing, I mean no harm in it. I just feel like whenever I want to put my POV in someone deletes it--KrumpMaster4 (talk) 20:46, 21 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia doesn't let you insert your POV. Read WP:NPOV,. As long as you continue to defy Wikipedia policy, your edits will continue to be deleted, and you will be continue to be blocked ...Misty Willowstalk00:59, 22 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

I've removed the fancruft tag that was attached to this because I believe this issue has already been debated and resolved in the AFD. If you disagree, I'd appreciate any feedback on what specifically could be edited or improved before simply placing the tag back up... — HunterKahn(contribs)19:14, 14 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
The Article give a complete play by play account of her participation on ANTM, which goes into an inapropriate amount of detail; this need to be cut down to a paragraph. (e.g. Analeigh Tipton, Chantal Jones.) That is why the fancruft tag belongs. ...MistyWillowstalk22:08, 14 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
The article is hardly a play-by-play. It covers only the important portions of her time on the show. If you go to the Cycle 12 page, you'll see there's plenty involving Celia I don't get into, including arguments with the other girls, shoots she was complimented or criticized for, contests she won, etc. And further, the merits of this article have already been debated for a week and the decision was to let it stand. The fact that you don't like it, as we can see from the AFD review, doesn't warrant you placing a fancruft tag. — HunterKahn(contribs)23:18, 14 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Where did you get the idea that I don't like it. I was Opposing the AfD, and stating that the issue should be debated here. That said Nothing on the AfD is relevant to what content belongs on the page, only whether the page meets the criteria for inclusion. ...MistyWillowstalk00:11, 15 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
I think I overreacted a bit, and I apologize; it was frustrating to see the tag after the article survived the AFD. That being said, I still feel the AFD review is relevant when it comes to the content of the article; the article as it was was determined to be acceptable. It's not a single paragraph as you were asking for, but I honestly feel everything included here is relevant to Ammerman personally and specifically, and the section is pretty far from a play-by-play. Take a look, and if you feel it needs further cutting I'd appreciate some specific suggestions. (I also added an quote box.) — HunterKahn(contribs)04:03, 15 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Jumping in here, as requested, to offer another opinion on the matter (although both Misty and I initially supported redirect so I'm not entirely unbiased). In the AFD review, Hunter Kahn stated he "would not be adverse to the idea of shortening the ANTM part of the article". I was very impressed by this comment and the general level of professionalism which was maintained by all parties during the AFD. As I am partially biased toward shortening the article, would you like me to formally request a WP:Third Opinion? I have done this a few times and I have always learned something from the advice, even if I didn't entirely agree with it at first. Let me know if you think you are moving toward a reasonable compromise. I think you are both great editors and thank you for both for your contributions. Thanks! Plastikspork (talk) 15:07, 15 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
I'm not ruling out the idea of the third party opinion, but I do want to hear Misty's comments on the shortening I've done already and her feedback on what could go further. As I said, I think I overreacted a bit to her tag in the first place, but I am willing to try working to resolve this before we make any kind of formal requests. — HunterKahn(contribs)18:04, 15 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
I think what you did was pretty good, but needed to go a little further. I removed the rest of the content that I considered fancruft and removed the tag. I would still like to see the remaining content tightened up a little, do we really need phrases like " Paulina Porizkova, a judge and former model" ? I really like the idea of the quotebox though, just think the top model stuff should about as tall as the quotebox on a 1024 pixel wide window. ...MistyWillowstalk21:27, 15 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I don't really think the incident where Celia talked about Tahlia at the judging panel is relevant to this article.,and I htink the article would be better without it. does anyone have objection to deleting it? ...Misty Willowstalk23:33, 24 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
I'd prefer to keep it, mainly because I recall it being a very controversial moment that was pretty much associated with Celia for the rest of the season. I didn't watch the show closely (my wife did), but even so the moment really stuck with me, so I'd imagine it would for other viewers as well. Perhaps it could be tightened and reworded to stress why its important with regard to Ammerman? Something like, "Celia Ammerman caused a particular controversy on the show when..." or something like that? — HunterKahn(c)00:10, 25 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ammerman grew up in Cynthiana, KY. In April 2009, Ammerman was working at the Intermix fashion store in Manhattan.[1] Since June of 2009 Ammerman has been a leading sales associate for Prada Men's in Manhattan. In June 2011, she was appointed the US ambassador for Prada's IPO in Hong Kong. She is a regular shopping and fashion contributor for ELLEgirl.com. [2]
Not done: The fact that she grew up in Kentucky is already mentioned in her early life section. The rest of the request sounds like it should go in a career section, not a personal life section. Topher385 (talk) 00:58, 9 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
