The article says the tunnel project was abandoned due to WW1. Without a mention of the project resuming, this implies it never did. But the article should explicitly say that. Ideally it would also say what proportion of the final project length the completed tunnel is (e.g. were they half way done, or what?). And, other than the WW2 use by the Japanese, what uses have been made of it? Is it a tourist attraction now?
