Changes to reflect organization's stated purposes
editCFP's website states that it was "created to lobby lawmakers in favor of market liberalization." As such, it cannot qualify for 501(c)(3) status. It has a subsidiary which the website states does qualify. I made changes to reflect the stated purposes and facts as presented on the website. I have also tagged the article POV, as I cannot find any normally reliable sources that do other than quote press releases from this lobbying group. Oldtaxguy (talk) 03:04, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
Clarification needed on subsidiary projects
editThe article mentions the views and interests of something called CTC, not the CFP (Center for Freedom and Prosperity). Some digging on Google suggests that CTC probably refers to this CFP project, the Coalition for Tax Competition: http://www.freedomandprosperity.org/ctc/ctc.shtml The article needs to be updated to clarify this, and perhaps include mention of the CFP's broader mission (not just the CTC project). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jreedy21 (talk • contribs) 02:03, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
