Comparison with Spain and Poland
editThe Central economic region has an extension similar to Spain (504.000 Km2) and a population not much smaller (45 million people)
It is larger than Poland (312.000 Km2) and the population is similar (38 million people)
The population data in the article is from the 2002 Census, but this is one of the few regions of Russia with population growth thanks to immigration, so probably the population of the Central economic region now approaches 32 million.--88.24.243.180 (talk) 05:11, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
