Jeong In-ji → Chŏng In-chi – Per WP:NCKO, McCune–Reischauer romanization should be used for pre-1945 Korean names. Motjustescribe (talk) 01:55, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. Since English language does not contain accents or diacritics, transliterations into English from languages that do not use the Latin alphabet likewise should not contain any marks that are not part of English. Would, however, support the replacement of "Jeong" with "Chong" and "ji" with "chi" — Jeong In-ji → Chong In-chi. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 03:50, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
- Support. Per WP:DIACRITICS, modified letters are allowed in article titles. The proposed title is used in The Cambridge History of China. Jähmefyysikko (talk) 11:16, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
- Support, note local precedents at Talk:Kwansŏ, Talk:Chŏng Mong-ju, and Talk:Chŏng To-jŏn. @Roman Spinner, for the last time please reconsider doubling down on this. I tried being polite at first, but at a certain point this becomes actively distracting and frustrating. WPK has bigger priorities than this, this is unhelpful. 104.232.119.107 (talk) 11:54, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
- Support per above. Malerisch (talk) 06:11, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
