New Edits

It seems that someone's been in and mashed up the article. When I checked in on it, wiki had come and decided it was in need of wikifying. I decided to change the errors and restructure the article to its original glory. I have done so, and I hope wiki approves. Please don't destroy this article. Its little bit of history took hours and hours of research. I invite you to tastefully add any tidbits of information that would help the reader.--Charlesemorganiv 01:13, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Firstly let me say it is refreshing just for someone to come back and improve an article. Time and again I make [what I think are] helpful suggestions and the author never comes back. I have hacked the article to bring it towards Wikipedia standards. Points to note:

• if you must write dates in the totally illogical format of April 21, 1896, then wikify them as I have done - the clever software then display the date to me as 1896-04-21 because I have told it that that is the only sensible way to display dates. (And you will still be able to see the dates your way.)
• pushing the external links to the end of the article is debatable but other editors seem to like it
• I could not make head nor tail of your two level refs. I have showed you the ref mechanism (and see also Wikipedia:Footnotes), I leave you to improve them.

Any idea why there are so many hotels named after Haddon Hall. A quick look at google throws up hotels of that name in Bloomsbury, Eastbourne and Miami Beach well before it gets to this one. -- RHaworth 07:01, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

• Yes I know about the hall, I cannot remember but I am sure my parents took me around it when I was little. My question was: why has it given its name to several hotels? I was going to say "why are there not lots of hotels named after, say Blenheim Palace"? But by an amazing coincidence, I find there is/was an hotel named after the palace (PDF) and it is in … Atlantic City! -- RHaworth 19:19, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
