According to greek sources, p.e. «Menelaos Dalianis***, Η εθνική αντίσταση της ελληνικής μειονότητας στην Αλβανία (1940-1944), εκδόσεις Ιωλκός, 2000», Talo was member of the greek minority of South Albania and his greek name was Lefteris Tallios.
