K43LX-D, Rock Rapids IA is no longer in FCC database
editAs of November 3, 2020 I cannot find K43LX-D in the FCC database. I know it was there about a year ago. https://www.fcc.gov/media/television/tv-query (I teach a course on communications technology. This station was an interesting example of a station assigned on the image frequency of another station in the same local market-area. In this case K43LX-D was on the image frequency of KSIN-DT. Both were owned by Iowa Public Broadcasting (IPB). I see that IPB has moved it's Rock Rapids translator from RF channel 43 to RF channel 33, which will avoid the former image frequency problem and extend the service area of their main signal, KSIN-DT, a small amount.)
