Santa Rosa Island going to the military?
editI just read an article that as part of a proposed Armed Forces bill, Santa Rosa Island could become a kind of military resort, rather than part of the national park. [1] — Eoghanacht talk 15:42, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- The proposal has been shelved (at least for now). [2] — Eoghanacht talk 21:20, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
Oil Spill section
edit@Cameron11598:, the oil spill section does not make any mention of the impact on the Channel Islands. Sections are supposed to have some relevance besides just being nearby. This would be an excellent section to add to Santa Barbara Channel. An experienced editor proofreading the article will probably delete it without warning unless it mentions the islands with a reliable reference. Cheers Fettlemap (talk) 21:48, 14 October 2016 (UTC)
- @Fettlemap: I'm still working on developing the section. I plan on continuing it with how it impacted the wild life (mainly the avian portion) of the island. --Cameron11598 (Talk) 21:50, 14 October 2016 (UTC)
- @Fettlemap: added some more information to make it more relevant. The wording is kind of clunky but I'm still working on it. --Cameron11598 (Talk) 22:10, 14 October 2016 (UTC)
