Please remove "died a coward's death".

Please remove the part in after "known". "coward's death" is highly offensive. "The manner of his death has not been made publicly known, for example it is not known whether he was shot in the stomach, and died in agony, or in the head, and died a coward's death." Jeannette Bougrab
editWhile she claimed to be his partner, it is now doubted that was the case: see AFP, to which she would have replied that they had been in a relationship for one year. Whether this is true or not, the name of Charb's latest date is not relevant to the understanding of his life and career. I would therefore suggest that any reference to Ms. Bougrab be removed from Charb's entry until things settle down (I cannot do that since it is semi-protected).
At the very least the entry should reflect those doubts, e.g. replace "He was the companion of former French Minister Jeannette Bougrab.[16][17][18] Bougrab reported to the media (...)" with "Jeannette Bougrab, a former French Minister, claims to be his companion. [above AFP][16][17][18] Bougrab reported to the media (...)" but, again, having to start the paragraph with her name rather than Charb's seems to prove that such matters do not belong to his entry (not to mention her position in a former government... shouldn't that be kept for her own entry?). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.85.171.100 (talk) 00:24, 11 January 2015 (UTC)
The Convictions of Charbonniers and Charlie Hebdo are quite clear and should not be removed!
editAbove all it is a secular and atheist newspaper," said Charbonnier, who signs his own sketches and goes by the name of "Charb" (REUTERS Sep 19, 2012 1, http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/09/19/film-protests-charlie-idUSL5E8KJE6320120919). True to its position on the far left of French politics, Charlie Hebdo's past is full of splits and ideological betrayals (BBC, 8 January 2015 -http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-15551998) tai The tradition combines left-wing radicalism with a provocative scurrility that often borders on the obscene. (BBC, 7 January 2015 -http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-30710883). Stéphane Charbonnier described himself as "a staunch republican and militant atheist" (THE GUARDIAN 13 January 2015 http://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/jan/13/stephane-charbonnier). Let's not fall into the trappings off political correctness! RudiLefkowitz (talk) 20:04, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for your input, talk. I have included the information in the beliefs section of the article. You may edit it of course, if you want it another way; but please be aware of close paraphrasing problems. I removed your original entry due to that, and also because of WP:Summary.
