Citation Issues
editWhile this article presents many good qualities information-wise, citations and references are limited. There are minimal sources used, and these minimal sources are referenced multiple times. There should be a wider variety of where information is received, and more neutral viewpoints should be divulged. Also, throughout the article, irrelevant information is shared, and important information is barely discussed. There's hardly any information about his family, for they are barely noted. While there is a broad amount of section headings in the article, the information talked about in these sections seem very scattered and not well organized. Abbymarx (talk) 18:44, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
Organization
editThe article on Charles Eastman provides a significant amount of background information and includes references to 10 sources, lending to its credibility and strength as an article. The article does however seem to be lacking organized structure and is confusing to analyze as a reader. The article is divided into appropriate sections, separating different aspects of Eastman's life, but the information within the sections is jumbled. For example, the information in the "Early Life and Education" section should include better structure. In this section, the article provides an abundance of information pertaining to Eastman's lineage, but simultaneously informs the reader about traditional Dakota language and traditions. This information is important because the Dakota culture makes up Eastman as a person, author, scholar, etc. but it is overwhelming to read all at once. The "Legacy and Honors" section of the article also seems to be a bit scarce in research and content. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Forda22 (talk • contribs) 15:58, 10 April 2017 (UTC)
