book listing
editis it necessary that the listing of his books carry his name first? I think probably not, as this is his page.68.9.129.11 (talk) 03:31, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Lead paragraphs copied from charlesghigna.com
editI deleted the second and third paragraphs version prior to my first visit because I recognized most of their content verbatim in Charles Ghigna: Who is "Father Goose?" (sic).
The material may have been written by Ghigna, his agent, or his webmaster for wikipedia (see the previous section, whose heading I expanded).
Some of the content is inappropriate here; some is inappropriate in the lead section. Some of the information should be incorporated below with formal reference to his "Father Goose?" webpage.

Autobiography
editAlmost the entirety of this page has been written by Mr. Ghigna or his associates. He's also incorporated himself into many other articles, if you follow his accounts' contributions.
It's evident from the comments under the COI section of this page, that Mr. Ghigna and his associates are mostly handling this article themselves. He even acknowledges that his own webmaster created the page in the first place.
I'm sure he's a nice enough guy, but he's blatantly using the Wikipedia for personal gain, and it's disgusting. I almost added a section to his page describing this, but am settling for the autobiography tag instead.
Until seeing the use of his trademark symbol on the Father Goose page, I hadn't encountered his name before, but I thought it was notable that he was openly inserting himself into articles, and followed him here.
It seems to be against the spirit of the Wikipedia that he and his associates be allowed to continue this behavior unchecked. I'm sure there are plenty of honest people out there who could benefit from authoring their own self-aggrandizing Wiki pages, but have the ethics not to. Boblamont (talk) 07:31, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
