Karen Proctor and blogs
editKaren Proctor wrote Pembroke Chronicles; however, the information seems at odds with other published sources, so I'm moving the material here for reference. Only Proctor uses the spelling Westamoo and no other published sources connect Weetamoo with Wompatuck. Yuchitown (talk) 16:38, 7 November 2021 (UTC)Yuchitown
Charles' mother was "Westamoo, the widow of Alexander", who was the son of Massasoit. She was known as the “Squaw Sachem of Pocasset.”[1]
