Fair use rationale for Image:Sonoma County Airport Logo.JPG
editImage:Sonoma County Airport Logo.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Vegas plans
editI recently updated the article to reflect that Horizon has (as of April '08) started regular service to Las Vegas. I also fixed some grammar, modified the information about Portland to no longer say it was the most recent addition, and moved some passages around for clarity. 209.112.213.29 (in his first edit) reverted that, because as part of my larger editing, I'd cut a small bit out that said that in January '08, there were to be talks regarding possible future service to North Las Vegas via Vision Air. Note that this was 3 months before Horizon started their Vegas route; I know of no information that says that Vision is still interested now that there's existing service, and I strongly doubt that there's enough business for both (but that's my non-encyclopedic opinion).
I've reverted 209.112.213.29's reversion, and added in some of the North Las Vegas info. I don't think that's it's still a viable prospect, but he seems to consider it important. If anyone has any solid current information one way or another, please add it. Dori (Talk • Contribs) 21:09, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
IN digging for history of an event I found the following " During World War II, Rancho Wikiup serviced the United States army. It was requisitioned by the army to house field artillery units which still used horse-drawn caissons. The 48th Field Artillery was at first what they later called Camp Wikiup. Also, the Army’s 13th Engineers billeted at Camp Wikiup while they constructed the Santa Rosa Air Field.
"
as an historian I can find no hard data for this block of text, which is typical of the period. regards d — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.127.143.99 (talk) 21:39, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
December 2016
editI´m translating this article for the German Wiki and stumbeld over the year 2016 in:
"The 478th Fighter Group was permanently assigned to Santa Rosa in December 2016 and began training replacement pilots, who were sent to combat units overseas after graduation."
Is this a typo? — Preceding unsigned comment added by SeBRa (talk • contribs) 08:57, 13 September 2016 (UTC)

Ownership/mangement
editI don't know the answer but what entity is the legal owner of the airport? The county? Who manages it? The board of supervisors? An airport commission? Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.15.14.34 (talk) 19:11, 18 January 2019 (UTC)
