editI'm confused. If Charles Scorsese was a film actor and his first appearance was in his son's 1980 film "Raging Bull," what, then, was his actual profession before then?

editI think it's stretching it more than just a little bit to call Marty's dad an actor. He simply made appearances in his son's films. JonasEB (talk) 09:55, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
I also think it's wrong to say he married a film actress, when his wife only became an actress AFTER her son cast her in some films, 31 years after Charles and her were married. 65.35.136.23 (talk) 17:30, 31 May 2013 (UTC)
