editLead "oversaw the construction of Weston College" - Was Weston College independent of Boston College at this point, or just a department of BC? The wording implies a separate entity.
- It was a separate institution. It only became part of Boston College recently.Ergo Sum 21:13, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
Infobox Is there a reason his leadership of Gonzaga College is not mentioned in the infobox along with his 3 other presidencies?
- My practice in writing articles about Jesuit academics has been to include in the infobox leadership positions of only institutions that would cause a subject to be notable according to no. 6 of WP:NACADEMIC. Gonzaga College used to be a collegiate-level institution, but is today a high school. Therefore, so as to avoid infobox bloat, I have left it out. Ergo Sum 21:15, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
Early life and education Is there a good reason to list the names and occupations of all of his siblings? WP:NOTGENEALOGY states that we should keep genealogical material to a minimum, and unless there's a good reason for keeping, it should be reduced (although his brother becoming a priest is probably relevant, since Lyons was also ordained).
- I've trimmed that section. Ergo Sum 21:16, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
You also cited to the wrong page number for his date of birth, p. 354 of the PDF is the page that lists his death date (but not his birth date).
- That page is the only one I could find that says his date of birth (minus the year). I've added a section page no. to clarify. Ergo Sum 21:18, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
Boston College "Lyons believed that it was his duty to support the president during time of war" - Is this referring to President Wilson? If you, you might want to be more specific, as president has been used to refer to university presidents throughout the rest of the article.
- Clarified. Ergo Sum 21:21, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
Georgetown University - "and his presidency was considered unsuccessful." Is this from the next source cited? I can't access the Curran source, and drawn conclusions need to be covered by citations.
- Yes, it is covered by the source. Ergo Sum 21:21, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
External links - See WP:FINDAGRAVE-EL. Find a Grave is usually not good as an external link unless it adds additional information that is not available anywhere else. Is this the case with this use of Find a Grave?
- It indicates his place of burial, which I am unable to find cited anywhere else. Ergo Sum 21:22, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
That's it for the GA review, the references and images look fine.
- @Hog Farm: Thank you for the review. Ergo Sum 21:22, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Ergo Sum: - All concerns addressed satisfactorily, so passing for GA now. Hog Farm (talk) 21:25, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
