editThis article: http://www.carolinacotton.org/archives/walkincharleyaldridge.html, has him as being born on June 3rd 1921 not 1918. Also in that same article it states that his wife was called Claudette, and on this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Od435WB7s20, of one of his songs there is a comment by someone called Claudette saying that the man was her husband of 60 years until he passed away on January 2018. I know its not the best evidence of his death, but I haven't been able to find an obituary, and it seems credible to me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.205.200.7 (talk) 19:29, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
- I've added the alternative year of birth with that source. The YouTube comment cannot be considered reliable sadly. Great find though. I will keep my eyes peeled for something more concrete. Thanks --Jkaharper (talk) 20:38, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
