Image:CharlieBrookersScreenwipe.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. NPOV/OR tags

This article has problems with nreferenced POV statements based on original research about the program - this not appropriate for an encyclopedia. For instance, the way "Unsarcastic/Complimentary" section suggests that sincere praise for TV shows is very rare on Screenwipe - there is an (I think stronger) OR case to be made that Charlie Brooker's sincere praise is much more common. Another example of a problematic line: "Screenwipe can be characterised as being intellectually harsher, however, with Brooker often making over-the-top — and slightly unbalanced — moral comparisons between the seeming attitude of certain programmes, and the logical conclusions of that attitude if it were turned towards real life." 207.151.252.32 (talk) 22:45, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

• Sincere praise for a show is noticably rarer on the show compared to negative comments. But the number of shows he does support listed in the article doesn't really suggest praise on the show is very rare. Also, I have to say I think the "intellectually harsher" line is generally correct about the style of the show, though I agree some refence for this is needed. So the OR tag is perhaps warranted, but I don't think the NPOV one is. Alberon (talk) 16:14, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

• Even mild praise is considerably rare on the show throughout the seasons. For example, Charlie Brooker may list five to ten flaws with a program and then list only one or two aspects of a program that he finds worthwhile. I enjoy Screenwipe immensely and find that this is the case -- in fact I find that's part of it's draw for me. Even the most casual review of the show will prove a high ratio of negative to positive comments. I'm reviewing some episodes now and once I've documented negative vs. positive comments I'll remove the NPOV tag if there are no reasonable objections.   • Okay, I'm going to just stop right here. In the first three minutes of Episode 4 of series 3, there are twenty-three statements that are either mocking or negative -- with no positive statements. There are a large number of neutral statements as well, but the negative statements are overwhelming in number. Series count

This article keeps referencing 'series five' as the latest series, however according to the production company it is series four that is currently broadcasting?!? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.160.195.22 (talk) 17:03, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

Looking at the BBC site, they definitely count the five episodes in Sep-Dec 2007 as "Series 3." I suspect that what we have as Series 2 & 3 are actually just a ten-episode Series 2. Nick Cooper (talk) 17:12, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

The title music appears in the film 28 Days later. Brooker also went on to make his own zombie series which was reminent of 28. I think hes a fan =] Iowaseven (talk) 00:53, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
