Wifi
editJust to clarify, the checkit branch does not have wifi access nor does it have publicly accessible internet computers. I;ve gone ahead and changed the wording. Feel free to modify if it doesn't read right. --Drmike (talk) 17:02, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
Layoffs
editI've made a couple of changes to clarify the layoff situation. The eventual layoffs were not 82-84 people, but 82-84 full time equivalents. If two people working 20 hours were laid off, that was counted as one full time equivalent. This meant that, as many of the staff laid off are part time, in total 120 people lost their jobs. Problems
editThis article is obviously excessively detailed, and past contributions contain copyvios from the library's website, specifically this page. Such edits (like this one) came from what appears to be the library's IP. I'm going to remove those edits, and let the chips fall where they may, and then I am going to go through and trim drastically. An encyclopedic article should not contain a play-by-play of budget decisions, annex closings, appointments, and decisions--not unless they have secondary sources verifying their notability.
