editI removed the PROD notice because Charmian London is an important figure in the life of Jack London, author of several books about her life with Jack London, and prominently mentioned and extensively discussed in all biographies of Jack London.
Borderline, maybe, but not a PROD. Should go through AfD at least.
It's sort of a tossup whether this should be a separate article or part of the Jack London article; indeed, Charmian London used to be a redirect to Jack London. On the whole, though, the fact that she survived Jack London by almost forty years, and had a life of her own (including an affair with Houdini), makes me lean toward retaining it as a separate article. Netta Eames article
editThe WP article Netta Eames is tagged for lack of notability. I started the stub-article yesterday and it was tagged for speedy deletion this morning before I had a chance to clean it up. The person who tagged it removed the speedy deletion tag upon my request but replaced with a notability tag. I feel that this is an important article in relation to Jack and Charmian London in multiple ways. She was his mentor and her foster-mother, as well as a prominent writer and editor. I'm wondering whether editors from this page could take a look at the article and judge whether this is notable. Thanks! --Kevin Murray (talk) 04:03, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
