Chase Parker (golfer) → Chase Parker – Current base "Chase Parker" page is a redirect to another person named "Chasen Parker". I get how the name could be confused, but it makes sense for the actual person with the base name to have the non-disambiguated page. Neither draws significantly many views, typically under ten combined. Neither seems to be the dominant name in this area, either. • @Debartolo2917: I get how the name could be confused it seems that Chasen Parker was Chase Parker in his early acting career. Neither draws significantly many views: not really true. Chasen Parker together with its Chase Parker redirect has a daily pageview of more than 100 views. In contrast, the golfer has an average of 1 page view per day. Most of the average views to the actor's page come from the redirect. The redirect is only linked from Eleanor Parker in the mainspace. I will bypass the redirect on Eleanor Parker's page (given that her page has about 1000 average pageviews) first to see if the current traffic to "Chase Parker" is from her page, or is organic traffic from the Internet. – robertsky (talk) 14:07, 17 July 2022 (UTC)

• @Debartolo2917 and Robertsky: Three articles had been linked to the redirect; I bypassed the ones from Sunset Beach (TV series) and Path of Destruction (film). More background: after the actor's article was moved from Chase Parker to Chasen Parker 5 September 2021, the golfer received 566 views. In the same time period, 31,586 of 34,997 total views for the actor's article come from the redirect. For June 2022 alone, 3,430 views of 3,716 total came from Eleanor Parker's article, 22 from Sunset Beach. If you scroll up, you'll see that May 2022 was a similar situation. @Rotideypoc41352 ooh. wikinav, that's a new tool for me. thanks for the share. hmm... @Debartolo2917 do you mind if Chase Parker be converted into a disambiguation page instead? One can argue that there is no PRIMARYTOPIC for the name still. The reasoning is that 'chase parker golfer' and 'chase parker actor' Google searches return significant number of results individually; 'chase parker' Google search returns both 'Chasen Parker' and 'Chase Parker (golfer)' article; the redirects have been largely taken care of by Rotideypoc41352. • Oppose Chase Parker (golfer) → Chase Parker. Unlike the strong arguments in the relatively-lengthy discussion regarding the ultimately "no consensus" nomination of champion John Daly (golfer) to be primary topic, Chase Parker (golfer) is a three-sentence stub that appears in no other Wikipedia, again unlike John Daly (golfer) whose entry appears in 15 Wikipedias. I would support, however, creation of a Chase Parker disambiguation page, per robertsky and Crouch, Swale that would list Chase Parker (golfer) as well as Chase Parker (actor), who has rebranded himself as a filmmaker named Chasen Parker. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 04:15, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
