"conflict arose between the Tigers and Taylor. The conflict was resolved when Taylor commanded the execution of two enlisted Tigers who had been found guilty of drunkenness and insubordination."

The article might be improved by some explanation of how the executions resolved the conflict; it would appear at first glance that they would have had exactly the opposite effect. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.160.250.253 (talk) 17:21, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Wounded at Bull Run

edit

The article should include information abuot Chathams wounding at the first battle of Bull Run. He was shot through both lungs according to Shelby Foote. 194.71.67.10 (talk) 08:52, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Another account of Wheat's near-fatal wound at Bull Run is in D. S. Freeman, "Lee's Lieutenants," volume 1, page 88. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.160.250.253 (talk) 17:44, 14 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

I have added a description of Chatham's wound at First Manassas per Shelby Foote's account. 97.78.160.34 (talk) 13:29, 21 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
