I am surprised that the Barbara Minerva version of the Cheetah is refered to by the Wikipedia article as being "not evil". When introduced, this version committs a whole series of murders simply because her charcter need to drink blood and /or feed blood to the Urzkartaga plant simply to survive.

She is most definitely evil, and a cannibal.

How is that different from slaughtering animals for food? Besides, it doesn't say that she's not evil, simply not AS evil as the others. -- VederJuda 20:49, 29 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
She's played both nemesis and friend to Wonder Woman during her career as The Cheetah. Thus, she isn't the standard "evil" you see with someone like say, Darkseid. She's more of a Catwoman, playing whatever role is necessary for her own benefit. She has killed people, but like VederJuda stated, most of them have been for her own survival. Not to say she's not blood-thirsty when she wants to be, but she's a lot more complicated than just "hero good, villan bad". Artemisboy 20:25, 17 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Main Article Image

edit

Hey there. I changed the main image to one depicting Barbara Minerva in her new Cheetah persona. Unfortunately my scanner is crap and only makes a decent scan on larger images. If someone would like to scan the same image but with a much clearer scan, I would be much appreciated. Just change the already existing image so that it doesn't become an orphan. I have a different image (the one when she's first seen as a human), but its a PNG.
But is it wise to have her in human form for the main SHB image? The cover for a future issue shows a silhouetted form that looks like Cheetah with her tail, not to mention she's more known as her animal-form (for example, the main Spider-Man image isn't the new, Iron-costume).--DrBat 19:24, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Well, it is the most current representation of her to date. Perhaps if and when that changes to the newer image of a tailed Cheetah, it can be switched out again. Artemisboy 15:27, 13 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Golden age cheetah.jpg

edit

Image:Golden age cheetah.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

"Love leader"?

edit

Is that implying a homosexual relationship between her and Wonder Woman? Booger-mike (talk) 23:53, 28 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
